Cordyceps mushrooms are traditionally used to support vitality, energy levels, and healthy respiratory function. These mushrooms are also valued as adaptogens, helping the body cope with stress. Both their traditional use in Chinese medicine and potential to enhance athletic performance contribute to their popularity today.*
Our Cordyceps is standardized to 10% cordycepic acid, among the highest in the industry. It takes 5,000kg of growth medium to produce 1,000kg of our CordycepsPrime™.

Born from Traditional Chinese Medicine
In 1997, NuLiv Science became one of the first companies to bring real fermented Cordyceps sinensis to the United States. From that point on we have developed top quality mushroom ingredients from some of the best functional mushrooms found in Traditional Chinese Medicine practices. We pride ourselves on the purity and quality of our mushroom extracts, rigorously tested and exceeding standards.
Our manufacturing partner holds the only government permit to produce fermented Cordyceps sinensis and Ganoderma lucidum (Reishi) in the entire country of China.

We specialize in producing and delivering Cordyceps sinensis mycelium, using a liquid fermentation process. Unlike conventional methods that utilize grain or wood-based substrates, our process ensures the purest form of Cordyceps sinensis, free from any residual substrate. This meticulous approach guarantees that our final product maintains its integrity and potency.
Traditionally, mycelium cultivation involves a substrate, potentially diluting the concentration of bioactives such as beta-glucan, especially when grain is used. Grains naturally contain beta-glucans, meaning a high concentration of beta-glucan in the mushroom product may not accurately reflect the purity or potency of the mushroom.
Through our fermentation and testing protocols, we find no remaining substrate markers, preserving the natural composition of our Cordyceps sinensis mycelium. Furthermore, we standardize to cordycepic acid, the biomarker synonymous with Cordyceps sinensis, to ensure consistency and purity in every batch.
