This in vivo study examined how AstraGin® — derived from Astragalus membranaceus and Panax notoginseng — influences intestinal L-arginine absorption and supports intestinal health, with findings suggesting it may help protect against disruptions to normal intestinal function.

This randomized, double-blind human study examined how AstraGin® influences whey protein absorption, intestinal barrier integrity, and muscle function across different age groups. Findings showed enhanced absorption of key amino acids — particularly leucine and valine — alongside improvements in grip strength, muscle mass, and intestinal barrier markers, with the most pronounced effects observed in older study participants.

This in vitro study examined how Astragaloside IV, a key compound in Astrion®, influences collagen levels in human skin cells following induced damage. Findings showed it supported collagen synthesis by modulating key signaling pathways and reducing the activity of MMP-1, an enzyme involved in collagen breakdown.
